Intermediate Lindy Hop – Thursdays 7:30-8:30 PM
The month of May will be in celebration of Frankie Manning, a Lindy Hop dancer, that many believe is the father of Lindy Hop as we know it today. Mark and Shannon will share a few of his variations on the swing-out, as well as some of his most iconic moves, and favorite break moments.
Beginner Lindy Hop – Thursdays 8:30-9:30 PM
In celebration of the Ambassador of Lindy Hop, Frankie Manning, the beginning Lindy Hop class will learn the basics of Lindy, with a touch of Frankie’s spirit and flair. Along with getting you started with the basics of 8-count Lindy Hop patterns, the swingout, the lindy circle and the swingout from closed, Mark and Shannon will share some of Frankie’s favorite moves, and footwork patterns. “A one, a two, a you know what to do!!!”
