These 3-week lesson series are held on Thursdays, running from March 5 – March 26. There are NO CLASSES on March 12 due to the Ctrl+Alt+Dance movie event.
- Intermediate Charleston Lesson Series: 7: 30 PM – 8:30 PM
Did you previously take a Beginner Charleston Series? Have you learned Charleston before but need a refresher? Do you have a good foundation of dancing charleston but want to expand your skills? Then this class is for you! Neil Coplin and Lisa Macharoni will refresh your fundamental charleston skills and build on what you already know to expand your knowledge of dancing charleston. You will learn moves, stylings, and techniques so you can dance to any fast song you come across! - Beginner Balboa Lesson Series: 8:30 – 9:30 PM
You’ve seen it on YouTube. You’ve seen it at the Y. You’ve seen it at Nyohs. Now is your chance to learn it! Balboa is one of the unique, closed forms of swing dancing that can be done to a fast tempo, and now is your chance to learn it from scratch. Neil Coplin and Lisa Macharoni will start with the fundamentals and teach you everything you need to know to start the balboa! No experience necessary!
