Do you want to push your dancing to the next level? Do you dream of learning choreography to compete with a group of advanced dancers to a crowd of cheering fans?
Attend this info session and tryout to get information on how to join Team SwingColumbus!
Team SwingColumbus is a group of swing dancers that practice together twice a week in January and February 2018 to learn and perform a choreographed dance. The team will perform that dance in the Dayton Swing Smackdown on Saturday night, February 24, 2018.
For 2018, Team SwingColumbus is recruiting dancers who have taken at least a couple of classes with SwingColumbus and are regular dancers at Swingin’ Wednesdays. Team members should be excited to improve their dancing and willing to commit to learn and perform with a team.
NO solo performance or memorized choreography will be required. The tryout is coming and participating in the dancing and warm up. NO partner is required!

Attire: Athletic dress encouraged, but bring your low-friction shoes for dancing!
Where: Ohio Theater Room 1 (Downstairs) – 39 E State St, Columbus, OH 43215
Enter through the door in the walkway to the East of the Ohio Theater sign and tell them you’re with Team SwingColumbus. They’ll direct you.
Parking: Paid street parking (free on Sundays).
