In case you missed it, SwingColumbus has been celebrating Black History Month every week at Swingin’ Tuesdays by engaging the crowd with a fun guessing game!
You have two more opportunities to join in on the fun! Each Tuesday, the DJs are playing music from a prominent black artist from the swing music era. You guess the artist, and the game turns into a raffle where we draw someone’s ticket from the correct answer of each of the challenges. Winners have received SwingColumbus swag and books relating to black history from the swing music era.

Haven’t danced before? No Problem. A beginner East Coast Swing dance lesson is included in admission and will get you started to dance the rest of the night. No partner necessary.
7:30 – 8:00 PM : Beginner East Coast Swing dance lesson
8:00 – 10:15 PM : Dance
9:15-ish PM : Guessing Game and Raffle

Be prepared to switch dance partners often! We’re a social dance club and the best way to work on your social dancing is to learn how to connect with different dancer styles and levels of experience.
Attire: Closed toe shoes required. We suggest low-friction (fast) shoes with good support for the tiled floor.
