We have heard your comments and concerns about lesson registration and have officially adopted a new policy to meet your needs! We now offer the fist class of every month as a drop in class, along with a few other changes. Please read on so you know what to expect at registration time! Monthly Lesson Registration Protocol
Interested in learning to swing dance and see what we’re all about, but not sure you want to commit to a full month of lessons? SwingColumbus is now offering the option to take the first class of each month as a drop-in course! You can now pay $15 for the first class of each month. If you decide one class is enough, there is no pressure to take the rest of the series. But if you love the class and want to continue, you can pay the remaining cost for the rest of the series at the end of the first class! Please read the following protocol before you decide to attend your first class:
1. The first lesson of the month is the only lesson that can be taken as a drop-in course. The course costs $15 and must be paid at the start of the class. Student and member discounts do NOT apply to the drop-in courses.
2. Anyone who chooses to continue the full lesson series after taking the drop-in course must pay the remaining $25/$30 at the end of the class before leaving. Payments will not be accepted after the first week, and students who have not paid will be turned away. No administrator will be present to accept payment after the first week, and teachers do not accept payments.
3. Anyone who takes the full lesson series is required to take the first class of the month. No one will be permitted to join the class after the first week.
4. No discounts will be offered for missing classes. If you choose to take the full lesson series, you are required to pay the full $40/$45 for the month.
5. You are required to have the full price of the drop-in class/full series at the first Thursday of the series. No administrator will be present to accept payment after the first week, and teachers do not accept payments. Payments are accepted as cash or checks made out to SwingColumbus.
